FOUNDRY NEWS.

The photograph above is of a floor and wall scraper from an EirichDE18 sand mill fitted on 15th April 2001, at Castings plc, Brownhills, UK. It was removed in September last year after processing well over 400,000 tonnes of sand. Previous scrapers were only lasting 3 to 4 weeks. LAEMPE SAND MIXERS.

A new WEAR-TECT-IT wear strip has been produced for protecting the turbine arms of the Laempe LM92 sand mixer. It is easy to fit and replace. Unlike all the other strips in the system, welding is not required. Click here for more details.

BRICK WORKS NEWS.

A new sander nozzle has been added to our TC range: TCE. It has an elliptical configuration like the more expensive TCHE nozzle and is also fitted with "O" ring seals to stop air leakages between the gun and the nozzle; thus reducing both gun and nozzle wear.
